Ashcroft Church caters particularly well for children with numerous groups and activities.

During every morning service there is a creche available where the very young can play with soft toys. On the third Sunday of each month the morning service is designated for 'All Age Worship'. On all other Sundays the children spend the first 10 to 15 minutes in the main service and then leave for their Sunday school classes that are split into 3 age groups.

Once every 3 months on a Sunday at 6pm there is a Circuit Youth Service at one of the churches within the circuit. Young people from all 6 churches within the circuit meet for a service of music and prayer geared to their tastes. Adults have been known to walk out!!!

'Squeals on Wheels' meets on Tuesdays from 10 to 11.30. This provides an opportunity for mothers and guardians to bring along their babies and toddlers for a chat over coffee whilst their charges play with toys, play dough, jigsaws, sing songs or listen to stories. See the Photo Gallery for photographs of some of the equipment available.

ARK Club ('Ashcroft Road Kids') meets on Friday evenings from 6.30 to 8pm and provides an opportunity to play computer games, snooker, table football, indoor hockey and football; to participate in art and craft activities; to purchase sweets and drinks at the tuck shop and to learn more about Christianity. See the Photo Gallery for photographs of ARK Club in action.

The Girls' Brigade meets on Monday evenings between 6.15 and 7.30pm. This is for girls aged 5 and over and is divided into 4 sections. Explorers for the 5-8s, Juniors for the 8-11s, Seniors for the 11-14s and Brigaders for the over 14s. A variety of activities are covered as the girls work towards gaining awards. There is also the opportunity to go on a camp holiday during the summer with fun and games for all.

Holiday Clubs are organised during all of the main school holidays. They include a whole range of activities from drama, music, art and craft, to games and quizzes. They are an exciting and fun way to spend part of your holiday break.
